But here’s the thing—our team is small. We’re not backed by trust funds, we’re not a billion-dollar corporation, and we’re definitely not running on huge VC investments (yet!). We’re just everyday people, scattered across the world, working towards a solution that we believe is much-needed in the modern digital age.
Why did we start Socialode? In a world that's more connected than ever, loneliness, isolation, and even depression seem to be on the rise. As technology advances, ironically, the deeper we fall into digital bubbles, the harder it gets to build genuine connections. That’s where Socialode comes in. We’ve put our hearts into creating a platform that allows people to find real friends—connections based on shared interests, hobbies, or passions—while keeping their privacy fully intact. We know that today, even one bad experience can affect an app’s entire trajectory, so we’re working hard to make sure we get it right.
Behind the Scenes: Where We’re At Now
After extensive testing, countless trials, and, yes, plenty of errors, we’ve made some exciting progress.
